Maureen Denise McCormick is the daughter of Richard McCormick. Her birth date was August 5, 1956, in Woodland Hills California. Her father was a school teacher and her mom was an at-home mom. Michael Dennis and Kevin are three of her elder brothers. McCormick was a gifted singer and performer from an early age. She perform shows using puppets for the neighbors. When she was just 6years old, she won the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest. The following year she appeared in another commercial with the company's Chatty Cathy doll and was shortly cast in the musical The Wind It up and It Breaks on stage at La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch In 1969 McCormick was chosen out of a crowd of over 1500 children who had auditioned for the role of the oldest of three daughters towheaded on the new TV comedy The Brady Bunch starring Florence Henderson as well as Robert Reed as newlyweds with the family of a blended couple.
